Faculty
When someone joins the faculty at the University of Minnesota, they are given access to the News, My Time, My Pay, My Benefits, and the My Info tabs.
Faculty also have access to the Reporting Center. This is found under the Key Links menu at the top of MyU.
Additional Faculty Tabs
Advisors
If a faculty member is an advisor, they will have access to the My Advisees tab.
Instructors
If a faculty member is an instructor, they will have access to the Teaching tab.
Managers
If a faculty member is a manager, they will also have access to the Manager Info tab.
Purchasers
If an employee is authorized to make purchases through U Market or with a P-Card, they will have access to the Purchasing tab.
Researchers
If a faculty member is involved in research, they will have access to the Research tab.
Tenured or Tenure-Track Faculty
If a faculty member is tenured or tenure-track, they will have access to the Faculty Career tab.
Student Tabs
If a faculty member has ever been a student at the University of Minnesota, or registers for a class while employed, they will have access to student-related tabs.
